Kennedy Space Center (KSC)
This photo of the KSC is made in 2017. But the infrastructure has not been changed much since the Apollo era.
Two main areas can be distinguished:
- The Launch Complex with the large Vertical Assembly Building where the huge rockets and the spacecrafts were stacked, the adjacent Launch Complex Center with the three large control rooms and the two launch pads;
- The Industrial Area. In that area were located the KSC headquarters building, the Manned Spacecraft Operations Building (MSOB) and the Flight Crew Training Building (FCTB)
